Admission Guidelines

Admission & Inpatient Information Sheet.

Admission is done either from OPD or from Emergency
Fill Registration Form clearly and correctly.
Sign consent and undertaking form for treatment in the hospital
Amount to be deposited at the time of admission as per specification
a)    Rs. 10,000/- in cash patient
b)    Rs. 5000/- in case of insurance/ TPA (Refundable)
We accept payment by cash, credit cards and by drafts. The draft should be drawn in favour of MHI. Refund of more than Rs. 5000/- will be paid through cheque after 72 working hours.

Credit Facility:

Credit facility is offered only to the patient from corporate and insurance/TPA’s having a tie-up with MHI, Faridabad. For patients covered under medical insurance, it is mandatory to get approval for cashless facility from TPA before the patient gets admitted. In case of emergency you should sign an undertaking (stamp paper), and deposit Rs. 5000/- (refundable) and apply for the approval for cashless facility within 24hours. In case there is delay in authorization, partial authorization or denial of authorization from insurance/ TPA, hospital cannot be held responsible and 100% of estimated cost and / or the difference of estimated cost to be deposited at the time of discharge or before the surgery.

Billing Policy:

The billing cycle is followed in 24 hours basis after the time of admission. Stay between 2-8 hours – Day Care stay, more than 8 hours will be charged as full day (General Ward).

  • We issue one attendant pass and one visitor pass at the time of admission.
  • One attendant can stay with the patient in Deluxe and Semi Private Room.
  • The attendance have to vacate the room whenever patient is shifted to any critical care area or for surgery.
  • However you have choice to retain the room (subject to availability) with additional payment for that particular room.
  • The attendant of general ward patient should stay in waiting room on ground floor.
  • Visitor pass is only for the visiting time.
Discharge

Please note that the discharge takes 4-5 hours to complete formalities after instructions by consultant. Additional delay is expected in TPA/ Insurance Patient as processing takes longer time.
